As a bike dealer, it is important for you to know that Lease a Bike does not set a fixed maximum amount for a lease bike. The employee basically has full freedom to choose the perfect bike.
The employer determines the budget
Although Lease a Bike does not impose a limit, the employer can set a specific maximum budget through the company guidelines in our platform. When the employee is in your store with an order code, this budget is automatically linked to the profile.
What to do if you receive the message 'budget exceeded'?
As soon as you enter the bike and any accessories on our platform, the system immediately checks whether the total lease price falls within the allowed budget. If you receive an error message that the budget has been exceeded, the lease contract unfortunately cannot be completed. In that case, there are two solutions:
- The employee contacts the employer to discuss whether the maximum budget in the platform can be increased.
- You look together in the store for an alternative dream bike or other configuration that fits within the employer’s current budget.
