As a self-employed person, you are busy enough, so we have made the registration process for bike leasing as simple and efficient as possible. In this article, we explain step by step how you register your company, go through the credit check, and get access to the platform to order your lease bike.
Step 1: Company registration
You take the first step online via our website. Filling in the digital registration form takes only five minutes.
Registration confirmation: After filling in the form, you will receive an e-mail immediately. Click the link in this e-mail to confirm your registration and activate your account. Make sure you fill in the final required company details to complete the application.
Step 2: The credit check
As soon as your registration is complete, our financial partner Grenke Lease will perform a credit check. This is a standard financial analysis to assess your company's financial capacity. Processing this usually takes 2 to 3 working days. We will let you know the outcome immediately.
Important for starters: To properly assess the financial situation, Grenke requires that your company has existed for at least one year (with officially published figures from the closed first financial year).
Step 3: Signing the cooperation agreement
Once the credit check is approved, you will receive the cooperation agreement. You sign this quickly and safely digitally via DocuSign using an ItsMe link. The contract is officially valid as soon as you, Lease a Bike, and Grenke have signed.
Step 4: Access to the platform
After signing, we will immediately send you an e-mail with a link to set up your account. Choose a secure password and you will get direct access to your personal environment on the Lease a Bike platform.
Step 5: Using the order code and choosing the bike
In the platform, you will immediately find your unique order code (a combination of 6 letters and numbers). With this code, you go to one of our many affiliated bike dealers (to be found via our dealer locator) to choose your dream bike.
Step 6: Agreeing to the lease conditions
The bike dealer enters the details of your chosen bike into the platform. Before the order is finalized, you will receive a digital overview. You must agree to the specific conditions of the lease contract here. You do this with one click of a button via the platform.
Step 7: Picking up the bike
As soon as all the paperwork is completed and the bike is ready at the dealer, you will receive a 4-digit PIN code via e-mail (also available on your dashboard in the platform). With this PIN code, you can officially pick up and activate the bike. The ride can begin!
